CONCERTO A CÉU ABERTO PARA SOLOS DE PATO (OPEN SKY CONCERTO FOR SOLOs of duck) IS A piece written for SAXOPHONE QUARTET (soprano, alto and two tenors) INSPIRED BY THE poetry OF BRAZILIAN poet MANUEL DE BARROS. The piece explores THE language of FREE IMPROVISATION AND FREE JAZZ as well as my research on EXTENDED TECHNIQUES OF THE SAXOPHONE like CROSS-PATTERN FINGERINGS and overblowing technique.

Missa das Aves (Mass of the Birds) is a piece for 7 saxophones and 4 voices inspired by the sounds of the Atlantic Forest in the State of São Paulo, Brazil. this piece explores the natural instability and organic microtonality of the multi-phonics in the saxophone blended with the voices. I used the textures and colors of paint as reference trying to achieve a heterogeneous net of sounds.

METAMORFOSE (METAMORPHOSIS) is a duo for alto saxophone and guitar that explores and queries the beauty and roughness of sounds.
